This place has a bright, happy aura about it, drawing you in. It’s been a long time favorite of my Mother’s and we have nothing but good memories here.
Ordered the chicken tacos with beans and rice. Every time I eat out at a Mexican restaurant the true test for me is the beans and rice. If the beans and rice are fresh, soft and spiced just right, then I know I will love everything on my plate. The chicken was very moist and flavorful with the onions, tomato bits and cilantro. The corn tortilla was freshly made and tasted mildly sweet. Could not eat it all (because I ate too many freshly made tortilla chips) so I had to take it home for lunch! Yummy lunch for me!
I have a feeling I’d be super excited about the entree too if I found a place with excellent rice and beans! Wish I could remember a place where that happened though… =/
