Walking up to Entrada Little Italy, we found our friend Chris taking pictures especially for this event. After chatting a bit we walked inside. The lovely Tiffany was wearing a beautiful black sequin dress and greeted us. Rock music filled my ears to the tune of Carlos Santana, awesome!

Seasons 52 789 W Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101 Yelp elite event

We sure had the royal red carpet treatment! A special room off the main restaurant was reserved for all the elite Yelpers. Sandra greeted everyone and handed out name badges and menu descriptions. Brad and Estefany made the rounds, happily speaking with everyone who attended this event. They have such a gift for making everyone feel welcome and important.

La Costa Farms & Flowers – La Costa

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eaves run;
To bend with apples the mossed cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o’er-brimmed their clammy cell.
John Keats – Ode to Autumn

Overflow parking lot.

Overflow parking lot.

There is a chill in the air when I arise in this season of mists.  Sun is out and the ripples on the surface of the lagoon sparkle as I approach.  Refreshing to not be surrounded by houses and office buildings.  Nature still has a toe hold in this place.

Voice of Daigoro: When we’re on a mission, I keep count of how many ninja my father kills. He says not to keep count, only to pray for their souls. But if I don’t keep count, I don’t know how many souls to pray for. So I keep count. So far it’s three hundred and forty-two.
[three ninja women ambush Lone Wolf. He swiftly kills them]
Voice of Daigoro: Three hundred and forty… five.

Kill #7

Kill #7 and #8

8.  Number 8 was the one on the table.  I smashed him with the Reader.  The Reader is an excellent fly killing weapon as I can easily rip off the page with the fly guts so I don’t spread the guts everywhere as I smash more flies.  Number 7 was the one I split in half on the chair.  The ones on the chair are much harder to kill as the hit has to be spot on.  4 was the toughest kill.  Number 4 was smashed between the Reader and the table and landed on the ground still twitching.  I stomped on him with my shoe to finish him off.  Next time I come here I think I’ll bring my salt gun.  The kills are less messy.
