Albert Lewis: Chris, “here” is big enough for everyone to have their own private universe. Thought is real. Physical is the illusion. Ironic, huh? Your brain is meat, rots, disappears. Do you really think that’s all there was to you? Like you’re in your house right now. You’re in your house, that doesn’t mean you are your house. House falls down, you get out and walk away. Richard Matheson.

Cool donut sign on the roof.

Why oh why did I never stop here.  I have passed by many times on the way to Santee or El Cajon.  It’s hard to miss the old building that looks like a house.  I read this place was relocating at the end of the year and finally visited.  Heaven scent greets you as you enter.  Sugar glaze glints under the lights.  Colored sprinkles like the colors of the rainbow.  I would take home all these sweet morsels if I could.  Staff was really nice as I tried to pick the perfect dozen donuts.  So many choices…

Came here originally to use coupons received at a previous Yelp event just to try out the food. Ended up really liking it, ordering more and stayed longer than planned. Woo hoo!

San Diego Air and Space Museum 2001 Pan American Plaza, San Diego, CA 92101

THE Best Halloween party I’ve ever been to! Yelp sure knows how to throw an awesome event!

Wonder Woman, Comic-Con geek, and Pirate Girl.

Wonder Woman, Comic-Con geek, and Pirate Girl.

Standing in line, checking out all the costumes….love Michael Jackson dressed up in his Thiller outfit, Minions are just so cute, love the goggles! Whilst entering we came upon a libation booth with hands coming forth holding the much sought after Yelp shot glass, filled with a sweet concoction. Ears were met with the up beat music and a plethora of food booths. So many booths so little time! My favorite donut was the crème filled pumpkin flavor from Donut Bar and my favorite bite was Funky Fries & Burgers Hawaiian roll filled with barbeque pork, yummy! The hazelnut gelato from Gelato Paradiso was to die for.
