I use to visit this area back when my mom wanted to visit a friend who lived nearby. Nice old well maintained houses and pretty quiet. I didn’t know there were food places around here. One day I noticed a food deal for Maggie’s Cafe. I knew I had to visit as my girlfriend’s name is Maggie. Maggie’s Cafe is in a quiet strip mall.
Fries were hot with a crispy outside and fluffy inside. Love the potato flavor.
Rack of baby back ribs had a little spicy kick to them. Very tender. Flavor was from the basted on sauce was pretty good. Preparation is similar to other restaurants that don’t use smokers like Marie Calender’s.
Fish and chips featuring fried cod was hot and crunchy. Beer batter had a light mild flavor. Cod had a mild cod flavor and was tender and juicy.
Onion rings were crunchy and had an ok onion flavor. A bit like ones I’ve had at Burger King. Burger with lettuce, tomato, and bacon was nicely seasoned and I like the char on the beef patty. This is my fav menu item here.
Girlfriend is lucky there is a cafe named after her. Staff was very friendly and provided very good service. Maggie’s Cafe is a nice neighborhood joint for a nice neighborhood.

Glad to know you liked the burger! We’ll have to go back and try more menu items.
There are some appetizers that looked good!
The ribs looked like one long beef rib. I liked the presentation of the fish n chips. Not sure if reference to Burger Kings onion rings was a compliment 🙂 I bet there’s a restaurant somewhere in the world named Soo!
It was one long pork rib Faye! I prefer dry rub and smoked ribs so I wouldn’t get it again. The Fish & Chips is my 2nd fav menu item so far. If I ever find my restaurant I’m gonna take tons of photos of all the Soo branded stuff.
