Smell of oak wood smoke fills Texas BBQ House. I love the sweet aroma and the nice staff. This is the friendliest bbq I’ve been to in Arizona. While waiting at the counter to order the helpful cashier offers me a piece of beef brisket to help me decide what to get. It was melt in your mouth tender and full of smoky flavor.
They have 3 different options in the level of moisture/fat in the brisket. I chose the moist which they were sampling. The fat rendered down during hours of smoking in their oak pellet filled smoker.
Amazingly moist it’s one of the best beef briskets I’ve had. Brisket was a deal at $11 for a half pound.
I also tried a $17 beef rib. Beef rib was huge and full of meat. Very tender beef cooked to medium-medium well. Loved the flavor from the dry rub and oak smoke.
Service is really good here. A couple under 18 kids were keeping the place clean and greeting the guests. I’ve never been to Texas but if all the bbq is as good as here I’m gonna have to go.

You have to try Texas bbq. So good. Actually, I thought you visited Texas when I read the post name haha! Hello beef rib! Such meaty finds you got!
One of these days I’m gonna win a contest to go!
3 different options in the level of moisture/fat in the brisket : wow! Any BBQ places in SD that offers the same options?
I’ve never seen that before. Usually you order beef brisket and they give you what they want.
