Bobby-Q-BBQ has quite the dinner crowd. Dining area was full so I sat next to the bar. It was dark like a fancy steakhouse.
Bartender was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. He suggested the combo with baby back ribs and beef brisket.
Shoestring fries had lots of crunch and a delicious fried potato flavor. Steak fries were also very crunchy but the flavor was not as tasty as the shoe string fries.
Baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender with a sweet slightly tangy carmelized bbq sauce. Nice smoky flavor from being smoked in mesquite and almond wood.
Beef brisket was extremely tender with a sweet sauce that had a bit of a tangy component and a little bit of a spicy kick.
For dessert fresh donuts were brought out. I liked the fresh fried flavor with a bit of sweetness from the sprinkled on sugar.
Arizona has some impressive bbq. Next time I visit Bobby Q Bbq I might try a variety of their meats to go.

What is Texas beef (i see that on the take out menu)? I’ve become a fan of brisket recently. Have you tried Kaminski’s in Poway?
Texas beef = beef ribs
I have visited Kaminski’s a few times. I like them.
Where do you love the brisket at? Texas BBQ House is my fav spot:

It’s hard to find brisket that has a delicious smoky crust and really juicy tender center.
