Scent of fresh chocolate fills the air. Outside shell has hardened in the chill air. I bite through and strawberry juices fill my mouth. Chocolate and strawberry flavors blend together creating flavors greater than the sum of the parts. I clear my mind and savor the delicious flavors.
Week before Valentines Day is one of my favorite to visit Costco. I love the extra-large Strawberries that are hand-dipped in rich Belgian milk, dark or white chocolate. This year I bought a container of half white and half milk Belgian chocolate strawberries. The strawberries were huge and full of fresh, sweet strawberry flavor. White chocolate had a rich sweet white chocolate flavor. Milk chocolate had a rich very sweet chocolate flavor. Both chocolates were excellent quality like what you would find in shops like Godiva. You can get chocolate covered strawberries year round but I haven’t found ones as good as Costco at the low price of 8 for $12.99
They also have hand dipped shortbread cookies for $9.99

It’s so hard to choose the ‘perfect’ box of these strawberries. I always look for the super fat ones dipped in semi sweet. Agreed Costco sells the best chocolate strawberries for the price! Did you get any good aisle samples from that location on visit 🙂
I like having a mix of white and milk chocolate. I didn’t see any samples that were really good. I tried some fried rice that was ok. Hope you got some good chocolate Faye!
