My elementary school years I experimented with many different root beers. My favorite was Hires Root Beer. In my college years Hires disappeared from California. I could get it for a few more years in Yuma then it disappeared from Arizona as well.

Salt & Straw – One Paseo Yelp pre-Grand Opening event
Cold, smooth on my tongue, so creamy, rich vanilla flavor. They call it Double Fold Vanilla. It’s one of the best I’ve tasted. Reminds me of McConnell’s vanilla.
