Mr. Fish & Chips has the look and feel of an English fish and chip pub.
Delicious scent of fried fish fills the air. Classic tempura style batter is coated on everything I’ve tried except the French fries.
Cod is the only fish option. Quality of the fried cod is excellent. It’s fresh, tender, flaky, and juicy. Crunchy batter adds a fried flavor to the mild tasting cod. Onion rings are crunchy on the outside and have a soft center. Love the mix of flavors from the batter and the onion.
Fried zucchini has a great tasting zucchini flavor enhanced by the mild tasting tempura batter.
Faygo root beer is sweet and has a delicious root beer flavor.
Owner is here each time I visit and is one of the nicest restaurant owners I’ve met. He takes the the time to talk with all his customers. I always enjoy eating here though the conversations are much shorter now that nobody is allowed to eat on the premises.

I saw a nice little line outside the place last week Soo. So, it looks like they’ll do ok. I prefer eating my wonderfully fried products on site, so, unless my cravings overwhelm me; I’m going to wait until I’m able to eat in the place again.
Nice! There were customers waiting for to go orders when I visited for lunch. Eating there is the best but I’ve found my small soft cooler does a good job keeping takeout hot. For fried food I’ve tried eating in the car right outside.
Fried zucchini! You don’t like any sauces for the zucchi or fish? I haven’t been here in so long. I agree with Kirk that I prefer to eat the fried items fresh outta fryer. Have you ordered take out from them ?
Great tasting fried zucchini doesn’t require any sauce. Sauce distracts from the awesome natural zucchini flavor.

Now it turns out the cooler is great for keeping my takeout hot. 🙂 Kirk is right about fried food tasting best right out of the fryer. When the drive is long I’ll eat in the car.
