When I was in junior high I biked to this area every Saturday morning. My favorite comic book shop was off Adams Av. Saturday was my favorite day of the week as there was no school and new comics awaited me.
Now I am filled with excitement to try a new bakery.
I’m not the only one as there is already a line minutes after opening time.
You can’t go inside and orders are taken at the door.
Butter croissant had a thin crunchy layer and soft buttery interior. Delicious buttery flavor.
Cinnamon twist is a cross between a cinnamon roll and a twist donut. I loved the crunchy outside and delicious sweet cinnamon flavor.
Earl grey shorties are filled with buttery flavor and light earl grey flavor. Like them as much as regular shortbread cookies.
Almond croissant was a buttery croissant with almonds on top and almond filling in the center.
Nice mix of almond and buttery flavor.
Cinnamon roll was fluffy, moist, and full of sweet cinnamon flavor.
This one goes in my cinnamon roll hall of fame and is my favorite treat here.
Berry pop tart was a gourmet version of pop tarts I had as a kid. I remember that bland tasting pastry part loaded full of preservatives and the too sweet filling.
This pop tart had a fresh pastry outside with a nice buttery flavor with a very sweet berry filling. I’m not a big pop tart fan but this is the best one I’ve had.
Wish Blackmarket Bakery was here in the old days when I biked by every Saturday on my old Schwinn cruiser.

Wow what a feast you had! I think my cousin bought a cake here one time. I’ve been on a huge cinnamon roll hunt last week or so 🙂
Sadly they are not selling cakes right now. The treats were purchased in 2 visits Faye. 🙂 Who has the best cinnamon rolls?
