Donato’s Taco Shop

I visited this place in the old days when the sign said Roberto’s.  Now it’s Donato’s Taco Shop.  I ordered a beef taco, carnitas taco, and horchata.

Horchata had a sweet rice milk flavor much like the Ole version I see at many taco shops.

Beef taco was crunchy and the beef had a nice marinated flavor.

Carnitas taco had a little bit of crunchy bits and had that delicious fried pork flavor.

2nd visit Taco Tuesday to try more tacos.

Tacos are $1.49 and smaller than the tacos from my 1st visit.  Al pastor taco was nicely marinated pork and not spicy.  Tender and I enjoyed the flavors.  Carne asada taco had tender beef and was also nicely marinated with a bit of black pepper.  Pollo asada taco had tender chicken which also had a nice marinade.

The mango drink had a nice sweet flavor but I didn’t think it had alot of mango juice.

Donato’s had many great tasting tacos.  Quite an improvement over Roberto’s.

Staff was nice and got orders out quick.  Donato’s is my fav taco shop in the area.
