Patio Blooming Beauties

For me it’s a labor of love to care for my plant babies. A lot of my time is spent with them, they reciprocate by blooming beautifully and providing me shade.

This baby started out at an inch tall in 2018. Now it has three separate shoots like this one.

When I was growing up part of our daily chores were outdoors with nature. Weeding the garden, picking the various types of vegetables from the garden, collecting the fruit from the trees or an array of other duties.

I believe this fostered my love for all species of plants. Something magical about watching something grow each day before your very eyes. Anyway, thought I’d share some recent pictures of my green gems.

My poinsettia just started turning from green to red in early December

Started with just one, it died and came back. Produced seven!

Calla Lily, this baby has been with me since about 2006.

Poinsettia in February, you can see how much red it has now!
This started as one, now it’s two going on maybe four or five.

  1. Great looking plant photos! Bummer you don’t have the names of the succulents.

  2. Why thank you! Well I do know quite a few of my succulents belong in the Crassulaceae family. Just haven’t figured out the individual names for all yet.

  3. Very beautiful!

  4. Thanks Christie!
