It was nice to watch the sun set, it’s been way too long since I’ve done that. The pelicans did their fly by in formation. The sun sparkled and shimmered along the top of the water. Finally descending behind the ocean, not to be seen again until sunrise.
Inevitably I always think of the movie City of Angels when I watch the sun rise or set. Nicholas Cage portrays an Angel who falls in love with a mortal, played by Meg Ryan.
We parked along the shoreline wall next to the Museum of Contemporary Art. It’s currently undergoing major renovations.
Decided to eat our tacos in the car while people watching. A few brave individuals were rock climbing up the side of the retaining wall, which sits about 30 to 40 feet tall on the beach side. I did not notice them until I spotted a hand on the wall in front of me, as you can’t really see them until they pull themselves up. Wonder how many people they scared the snot out of that way.
Admired various dogs trotting by alongside their owners. Most people wore masks. My dog always looks at me funny when I put mine on.
That’s great you enjoyed the sunset! Cool photos.
Thanks, the beach is always beautiful.
