I loved visiting this spot when Hammond’s Ice Cream was here. Now La Michoacana Estrella is here.
Friendly employee told me they have a production facility in Temecula where all the treats are made. You can get a liter of ice cream for $15. I decided I would try some flavors in the large container before getting a liter.
Mango sorbet seemed to be very fine ice with tiny bits of mango. Sweet fruity mango flavor was delicious.
Lime sorbet was made of very fine ice and tasted like lime popsicles I’ve tried. A bit more sour than I like.
Vanilla ice cream was rich and creamy. Loved the unique vanilla flavor.
Passion fruit paleta was icy with delicious passion fruit flavor. Not a fan of the crunchy passion fruit seeds.
La Michoacana Estrella is a more affordable option than Hammond’s was. I was paying $11 for a pint. Now I’ll be paying $15 for a liter.

That’s nice they are cheaper than the other place was.
I’m guessing importing ice cream from Hawaii was expensive. They must use a lot of dry ice and air freight it.
