Elite Experience: Panini Kabob Grill

Look away and the places you know are gone, replaced by something new.  Been a while since I visited this mall.  There was a brewery where Puesto is now.  Panini Kabob Grill recently opened and invited Yelp Elites to try them out.

I called in my order and it was ready when I arrived.

 

Staff was friendly and efficient.

 

Basmati rice wasn’t dry and had a nice mild flavor.  Tomatoes had a little char on them and a slightly sweet and delicious flavor.  Salmon was seasoned with a dash of salt and had a tasty fresh salmon flavor.  Tender flaky texture.  Chicken was marinated just right to enhance the fresh chicken flavor.  I was impressed that the white meat was tender and juicy.

I loved the food and the breakfast menu looks very attractive.
It’s been awhile but I remember standing in line to see Star Wars when the Valley Circle Theatre was here.  Line was wrapped around the building and there was a long wait in the chill night.  I went to bed dreaming of wielding a lightsaber in battle against the dark side.  Those were the glory days of cinema before streaming.

  2. That is quite a feast and I love the Yelp swag! That’s one thing I miss from the in-person events – all the cool bags and other trinkets, many of which I still use.

  4. My husband & I went to Woodlandhill branch on Sat July 15 about one pm . We got a great welcome at the door but after being shown to our seat our problem started. The server did not say anything just stood there for us to order . No “what can I get you etc” anyhow I was not well so I got a soup but my husband had Chicken Kabab which was great. The server did not even once come to our table to see if there was anything we wanted. No smile, bad mood , looking as if the whole worlds problem is on his shoulder. A good restaurant to attract customer must have friendly servers, also their tip depends on the service they give specially for Seniors. The food is wonderful, and I am sure your servers are well behaved , probably it was our bad luck.A little smile and friendly ness goes a long way . Thank you
