I’ve been to my share of orthodontists growing up with the ‘old style’ braces and various dentists over the years for cleaning and wisdom teeth removal.
So for years I just resigned myself to the fact it’s just always gonna have some level of pain depending on what is being done, during and after the procedure.
Then I met Dr Farokhian. By far the most gentle, talented dentist I’ve ever been to. After a few visits it became apparent just how different he is from the rest.
Never even felt the shot of Novocain. They took short breaks so I could rest my jaw. A small pillow was provided for my neck support. I even got sunglasses to wear to help with the bright light. More Novocain was given when I started to feel just a little bit. My anxiety was way lower than with other dentists which is a huge relief for me.
My most recent procedure started out as a cavity filling and became my first crown. I had my temporary crown for a few weeks while my permanent crown was being made. Once the permanent crown was in I was able to chew on that side again with no problems. Other than being a little sore I had no additional pain or swelling. A small miracle in my book!
That’s great you found a dentist you like! I’ve been going there for years. 🙂
Lovely dentist! And yes dear I know.
