I’ve been to Robeks many times but never got around to writing about it. I have mixed feelings about Robeks. While the drinks taste great I can get a 64oz of Naked Juice Might Mango for $7.49 at Food 4 Less and make my own smoothies for a week. Time is running out as Robeks is one of the last businesses still open in this mall.
Hummingbird which was a mix of mango, strawberries, banana, orange sherbet, and passion fruit juice. Orange sherbet was the strongest flavor with the others more subtle. I liked the Slurpee-like icy texture and all the fruity flavors. The medium size was 22oz for $7.49. All that fruit was pricey.
South Pacific Squeeze was a mix of pineapple, strawberries, banana, pineapple sherbet, and orange juice, I liked the tangy, fruity flavor.
Polar Pineapple was made with pineapple, strawberries, pineapple sherbet, and papaya juice. Lots of pineapple flavor in this drink.
I will miss coming here and getting a classic smoothie. The icy fruity drinks do an excellent job of cooling me down in the summer.
Delenn: It occurs to me I have never walked the length of this place, end to end.
John Sheridan: Well, Delenn, it’s 5 miles long.
Delenn: I know. Coming?
Sheridan: Now?
Delenn: Now is all we have.

Costa Verde Mall update
I watched them remove all the supplies from Five Guys. Their logo is gone. All that’s left is the outdoor seating with Five Guys umbrellas.
Bristol Farms has removed their sign and homeless guy has taken over.
I’ll miss this mall! Wonder what the remodel will end up looking like. I just hope they don’t destroy any of the beautiful trees. Perhaps you’d like Robeks more if you liked their protein smoothies. I like the choice of pea protein over whey.
It was a nice mall. I liked biking over there. I like Robeks drinks just not the prices.

The end of an era! And while I’ve not been to Robeks specifically, my issue with juice shops – aside from the price/value proposition – is the amount of sugar in many of the drinks. I’ve looked at the nutrition labels for places like Jamba Juice and Nekter and often they can be a dessert masquerading as a health choice. 😢
Yes Robeks drinks are full of carbs and very rich. Making my own drinks I get to control the ratio of ingredient’s and I tend to add more ice.
