Qin West Noodle

Qin West Noodle gets busy at noon.

I tried the won ton noodle soup not spicy.  It’s not shown on the menu but you can ask for it.

Won tons were nicely seasoned and you get enough for a good sized lunch.

I also enjoyed the broth which had just the right amount of salt and msg for me.

Pan fried dumplings had a crispy won ton wrapper outside with a tasty filling inside.

2nd visit I came by at 11:10am and there was one person in line.

This time I tried the beef chow mein.  I liked the noodles which had a nice mild flavor and a little snap to them.  Beef was tender and I liked the way it was marinated.  Bean sprouts gave this dish some additional moisture and a mild flavor.

Water and ice machine provided cold refreshing water.

I enjoyed the food at Qin West Noodle and would order again everything I tried but Shanghai Cafe is my favorite spot for Chinese food in the area.

Kirk of mmmyoso!!! has visited too.  As has Joy of Joy of Food.

  1. It’s nicely decorated inside. That’s good you enjoyed your food. Would you try anything else on the menu?

    1. I’m thinking of trying the fried rice next visit.

  2. Hard to believe that UTC was one of the most awful Westfield malls around. Post renovation it’s a first-class dining destination. I’d take the trolley up from Chula Vista to visit this spot!

    1. It’s amazing what a $1B remodel will do. Let me know how the trolley ride was!

  3. Thanks for the mention Soo!

    1. Welcome Kirk!
