Eat Crispy Burger is shiny and new. Yelp friends gave glowing reviews and I wanted to try a burger myself.
I ordered a double. Loved the mild sweet flavor of the brioche bun. Burger had an interesting mix of textures from the thin crispy beef patties and the soft fluffy bun. I usually gravitate towards thick beef patties dripping juices. Delicious mix of flavors from the angus beef, smoky and salty bacon, fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I can taste why people are calling this the best burger in town.
From the outside I thought I was in for the standard fast food experience but I was mistaken. The owners running Crispy Burger and were very friendly and informative. I talked with owner Ramzy about how I loved the hamburger buns. He told me his daughter helped him test a dozen different types of buns before picking one. He also let me know they use Dreyer’s ice cream in their shakes and how Dreyer’s and Hagan Daz are owned by the same company. In addition to delicious food I had a very enjoyable and informative experience.
2nd visit. Fries were crispy and had a delicious potato flavor accented by the light seasoning sprinkled on top. Onion rings were crunchy from the panko batter and full of onion flavor.
Double burger was highlighted by the fresh mildly sweet bun. Normally I don’t pay attention to the bun but this is my favorite. Plentiful bacon gave this burger a tasty savory/salty flavor. Beef patties had a fresh beefy flavor. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and gave this burger cover as a well balanced meal.
For dessert I tried a strawberry shake. Richy and creamy and full of strawberry flavor. I loved the strawberry bits in the shake that gave it an explosion of strawberry flavor.
Owners were very nice and remembered me from last time. I never get service like this at regular fast food joints.

The crazy fries sound yummy. I’m glad you had such a great experience.
Thanks! I think you would like the impossible burger.
Sounds very similar to the Classics Malt Shop in the Midway District. It’s great food and the owners will remember you from one visit to the next.
Nice! I’ll have to try the Malt shop.
