Looks like this mall is getting fancy. The food court looks new and shiny with the remodel.
Ike’s recently opened and the place is pretty busy at 1pm on a weekday.
I ordered a steak sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, and bacon on dutch crunch bread. Loved the sweet flavor of the crunchy bread. Steak and bacon had a tasty savory flavor. Veggies gave this sandwich nice earthy flavors and lots of moisture. Delicious flavors brought a smile to my face.
2nd visit. I ordered a roast beef, turkey, lettuce, and tomato sandwich on dutch crunch bread. Looks like they also put some mayo and Ike’s sauce on it. I used some napkins to wipe off the stuff on the roast beef and turkey but I didn’t get it all off as the meats had an odd flavor. I wouldn’t order anything to go again as I don’t trust them to get my order right as the odds are 50% based on history.

Love, love, love this place!!! And yes it sounds like you need to check your sandwich before you go home with it.
I’m just gonna eat it there if I go back.
Everybody loves Ike’s and sandwiches. The one in Hillcrest often has a line out the door. I’ve been a few times and found it decent as long as I got the regular bread and didn’t have them add the dressings.
The enjoy the food as long as they don’t put stuff I don’t like on the sandwich. It’s not a big deal if I can remove it but I can’t get the sauce out of bread as it’s soaked in.
