I made a trip to Rare Earth Gallery to pick out my Christmas present. Place is huge and the selection extraordinary.
In addition to all the treasures inside there was a good selection of water fountains out back.
Lovely view of the mountains.
Inside were bowls for sound therapy and minerals of all shapes and sizes. I loved the cool sounds you can make with the bowls.
What caught my eyes were the fish fossils. The coolest looking was the fridge size panel. Sadly the $40k panel was out of our budget.
I did find an affordable $129 one.
It was a Knightia eocaena Fossil Fish . Fish fossils are from Kemmerer, Wyoming Green River Formation Eocene age (45-50 MYA). Lovely piece of history now displayed in my living room. 🙂
So much cool stuff to see here and excellent customer service from the friendly staff.

Great history info! You got some beautiful pictures of their merchandise.
Thanks! That was a one of a kind shop.
Very cool and interesting place! Here’s hoping you win the lottery and can pick up a $40K piece next time. 👍
Thanks! I’ll need to buy a place worthy of $40k artwork.
