My friend Joy of Joy of Food suggested I try Curry N Kabab. Luckily it wasn’t too far away.
I ordered the chicken tandoori. You get thighs and drumsticks. Chicken was tender and moist. I had this dish once elsewhere. This version was different as there was some heat and the spices had a bitter flavor I didn’t like.
Plain naan was freshly made and still warm. Fluffy with a delicious mild flavor.
2nd visit.
I returned to get some plain naan and there was a plastic over the front door and a dreaded sign in the window.
Looks like I need to find good naan elsewhere.

That’s sad they closed. Sounds like you only liked the plain naan.
There were a few other things I was interested in trying but the naan was the most delicious thing I found.
Still sad about this place, times are tough and so many good ones closing. Thanks also for the mention and here’s the direct link to the Curry ‘n Kabab review I had done last year! https://thejoyoffood.life/curry-n-kabab/
You are welcome. I have updated the link. I have been trying to enjoy my fav spots. I was told the Original Sab E Lee might be for sale. I went this week for won ton soup with duck.
Well, at least it will still be Indian. Plain naan lets you taste the flavors of all the entrees/sauces; garlic naan sometimes masks flavors.
I’ll have to see if they still make naan when they open the new restaurant.
