I like eating in this South Park neighborhood Buona Forchetta is located. It’s mostly one or two story buildings.
This spot was chosen for our monthly team lunch.
Bread had a crunchy outer layer with soft inside. Loved the fresh flavor.
Strawberry gelato had frozen strawberries throughout. Gelato was rich and creamy and bursting with strawberry flavor.
Vanilla gelato was rich and creamy. Bold vanilla flavor.
Round 2 on the gelato had an extra berry but it looked like the gelato had been left out for awhile as it was partially melted and not as tasty this time.
Buona Forchetta has excellent gelato and bread. Server was nice and provided good service except for letting my 2nd gelato get melted.
Leaving South Park the cute houses gave way to fog covered skyscrapers.

The specials look promising. Glad you liked your gelato. Wonder why the second one was left to melt? Kinda weird.
He must have gotten busy and didn’t see it.
Ah Buona Forchetta, one of the only decent pizza places in San Diego, though that’s too bad about the state of the gelato they served you. Which now that I think about it, I’ve never had gelato there, only their homemade desserts (tiramisù, cassata, etc.).
I love their gelato when it’s frozen solid.
