I was looking for places to eat while visiting Monument Valley. Not too many choices in the area. Goulding’s Stagecoach Restaurant looked interesting. I was excited to see Indian fry bread on the menu. I had something a bit like it at the county fair. Funnel cakes have a flavor that has similarities.
The fry bread had some crunchy bits but mostly it was thin delicate layers of dough. I loved the mild flavor and it was even better with a bit of powdered sugar sprinkled on top.

Can’t beat the view! That’s good you enjoyed the Navajo fry bread.
Indian fry bread is very tasty. 🙂
Cute interior in that first photo – reminds me a little of Barstow Station driving between San Diego/LA and Vegas.
I’ll have to checkout Barstow Station. Goulding’s had a great view of Monument Valley. 🙂
Thanks for the mention and the link Soo!
You are welcome Kirk!
