Goulding’s Museum is part of the structure’s named after Harry and Mike Goulding. There is a restaurant, trading post, lodge, and a supermarket a block away.
The museum has artifacts and tells the history of the Goulding’s and Monument Valley.
My favorite part of the museum was the film room where it was documented the films which were shot in Monument Valley. One of my favorites was The Searchers by John Ford.
It was cool seeing how people lived back in the old days. This is an excellent place to learn about Monument Valley. Kirk from mmm-yoso!!! has visited too.

So much to experience in this museum! A true gem of our history.
Yes. I learned alot. 🙂
Very cool! I watched a lot of the movies shot here as a kid, it was a way to get exposed to American culture and history and also learn english.
Nice! I watched some westerns when I was a kid but didn’t appreciate Monument Valley at the time.
