In the beginning Meghan had a tiny shop with a small window and sold ice cream from a cooler. Things have changed since those early years.
Now she has a shop with a big display full of ice cream flavors you can sample.
There is also a parking lot to the side. Very helpful in this little beach town.
Another thing I’m happy to see you can buy pints. When I find good ice cream I like to buy in bulk and eat at my leisure.
Let Them Eat Cake was sweet and kinda like eating ice cream cake. There was rich, creamy, sweet vanilla ice cream, cake batter, and sugar cookie pieces. Delicious.
You Otta Horchata had a sweet cinnamon flavor and cinnamon puffed rice which made this a bit like horchatta with rice krispies. It’s hard finding horchata with the right mix of rice, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. This ice cream is among my favorite.
It’s exciting visiting. Little Fox Cups + Cones has some really creative flavors I have never seen before. You never know what flavors will be available. Now that there is lots of room to showcase lots of ice cream flavors I hope she brings back my favorite.
Meghan created this amazing root beer ice cream. It took me back to my childhood days when I recycled glass soda bottles to exchange for a bottle of ice cold Hires Root Beer. Loved that sweet flavor with that distinctive root beer kick. I was told it may make an appearance this summer.

That’s great they are doing so well with their business!
They have some great tasting ice cream. 🙂
Looks like a cute little place. I’ve come to really enjoy cake-flavored ice cream. I’ve bought pints from a different brand and they were gone before I knew it!
Mmm… Where did you get your cake flavored ice cream? I don’t see that flavor much.
You should visit next time you are in Oceanside.
It was this. Good stuff!
