Luna’s Lunpias

I showed up around 11:30am.  That’s not a good time as the lechon kawali isn’t available till around 2pm.

I tried the huli huli chicken with pancit.  Chicken thighs were cut into small pieces and marinated with huli huli sauce.  Chicken was tender and full of flavor.  Pancit was very moist and I liked the flavor.  Very good dish.

Pork lumpia had a thin crispy wrapper and marinated pork filling.  Flavor was pretty good.

The owner provided great service and the food came out quickly.

2nd visit.  I didn’t see the owner.  I was able to order the lechon kawali with pancit.  The pancit was different this time.  A bit too much salt or msg and I didn’t like the garlic bits which had a bitter flavor.  Lechon kawali had crunchy skin and tender meat.  Loved the fried pork flavor.  Sadly there were only 3 slices and this dish was mostly pancit.

Beef lumpia had a thin crispy wrapper and marinated beef filling.  Loved the flavor.

I loved the lumpia here.  The pancit ranged from good to fair.  Lechon kawali was delicious but the serving size was way too small.

Cashier was very nice and got my order out quick.
