I visited this building when Papalo Bbq was here. It’s tricky getting a parking spot here as the street parking is mostly occupied.
I tried a few goodies.
Tahitian vanilla knot was dense like a cinnamon roll. Would be good for sharing but too sweet to eat the whole thing.
Croissant had a thin crunchy exterior while the inside was layers of buttery goodness.
From the layer and texture Izola uses more butter than most of the other places I get croissants. This is one of my favorite croissants in town due to the amazing sweet buttery flavor.
Staff was nice. Kirk of mmm-yoso!!! has visited too.

The croissant looks amazing!
It was great!
Izola does a pretty good croissant Soo…..but for some reason, I think the butter to salt ration was better before. Of course, I compare everything to our favorite croissant shops in France.
That’s awesome you have had croissants from the source. I’ve mostly just had California made ones.
