This month our team lunch was at Casa Guadalajara in Old Town. I love Old Town.
Lovely trees and Spanish architecture. Lots of free parking in the lot.
Chips were crunchy and I loved the fresh corn flavor. I ordered 3 tacos a la carte.
Beef taco had a crunchy corn tortilla. Beef was tender and juicy. Loved the seasoned beef flavor. My favorite taco here.
Carnitas taco had a soft corn tortilla. Carnitas was seasoned with salt and had a tasty pork flavor. Carnitas was a bit dry and the dry tortilla didn’t help.
Carne asada taco had a soft corn tortilla. Carne asada was tender and juicy and full of flavor with a hint of sweetness.

Fresh tortillas.
Staff was nice and they got our food out quickly. Great place for small and large parties.

That’s great you enjoyed your lunch.
The team seemed to like their lunch too. 🙂
This is my favorite Old Town restaurant now that Casa de Pico is in Grossmont Center. Their queso fundido is sooo good to share.
Cafe Guadalajara has great tasting tacos. Have you tried Cafe Coyote? I loved their fried lobster.
