Mama n’ Papa’s Pizza Grotto / 988 Civic Center Drive Vista, CA 92083
We first discovered this gem in 2006 when my work transferred me to Vista. It quickly became the go to Italian restaurant throughout our time spent in this area until 2012.

This was my first visit in over a year. Due to CDC guidelines (as of May 2021) almost everyone needs to form a line outside. So don’t freak out when you see a long line, it’s just the people usually lining the inside walls waiting to hear their number be called. Just like bingo.

This was the first time I’ve sat down inside an eatery in over a year. Wow it was super weird but really nice all at the same time.
