We were staying in San Bruno and looking for awesome Chinese food. My co-worker Allisa suggested Koi Palace in Daly City. Most of the time I eat Chinese food at hole in the wall type places.

Mow Lee Shing Kee & Co
Scientists theorize you can go back in time by travelling faster than the speed of light. Alternatively you can close your eyes and step foot in Mow Lee Shing Kee. Breathe deep and try to visualize each scent.
Hong Kong Lounge
When I visit San Francisco I try to visit Hong Kong Lounge or sister restaurant Lai Hong Lounge. This trip I opted for Hong Kong Lounge. I was happy to find free street parking a few blocks away. I try my favorite dishes.
Diamond Palace
I remember this mall. Fresh out of college I worked at K-Mart which is now half Burlington Coat Factory and half Northgate Market. I ate here back when this restaurant was Lucky Star. Food was similar to Convoy St dim sum restaurants. Now the place is called Diamond Palace.
Yenchim Garden Restaurant
I was looking for Cantonese places and Kirk of mmm-yoso!!! suggested Yenchim Garden Restaurant.
Tim Ho Wan
My first visit was in 2020. Tim Ho Wan is attached to the Palms casino and you enter through the casino.
San Diego County Fair
This year we visted the fair on opening day. We parked at Torrey Pines High School and took the free bus. The wait was only a few minutes. It was pretty quiet at the fair with no line to get in at 11:30am.
Hong Kong Bbq
This spot was an empty field when we moved to the neighborhood. Later there was a movie theatre.
