Lotus Garden

Apache Junction is where the Apache Trail begins and ends. Apache Indians used this trail to travel through the Superstition Mountains. Maggie’s son took us out for lunch at Lotus Garden in a quiet strip mall.

My mom started me on celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival. I remember the first time we went and bought Eastern Bakery moon cakes at Woo Chee Chong. I loved the pastry part and the lotus seed filling. Woo Chee Chong isn’t around any more and neither is my mom.
