Worldmark Solvang is the last place we stayed on our San Francisco road trip before heading home. It’s under 4 hours to get to LA.

Corner Bakery
The UTC Corner Bakery is an interesting location. Originally Sears occupied the entire building. Then Corner Bakery burrowed out a corner of Sears and came into existence. The most interesting part is now Sears has closed but Corner Bakery is doing great. I have eaten here a bunch of times.

Cowboy Star
Each time we drive to Cowboy Star I glance out the window to see how the first place I lived is doing. It’s still standing. I wonder how much longer it will last before it’s demolished and replaced by a 20 story condo tower. Downtown San Diego is constantly changing.
