I don’t go out for breakfast that much as it’s something I tend to cook myself. Maggie loves going out for breakfast so she found a spot she wanted to try. She also loves being safe so we tried online ordering.

Black Angus – El Cajon
In the days of my youth there were many more darkened steakhouses. They are now a dying breed. Black Angus has closed their Mira Mesa, Clairemont, and Friars Rd locations. Their El Cajon location is now the closest. We went to try it out as they are now open for dine in.

Tri Tip Tiperia is located in a part of town I’ve never been to. It was cool seeing all the old houses. Hope it stays that way unlike where I live surrounded by towers of steel and concrete.

It’s been a while since Island Style Cafe closed on Santo Road. We were happy to see them reopen in their new location. Deep in the heart of Santee their mall location had lots of free parking. Only downside I could see is it’s gonna be real hot in the summer.
