Hard Knox Cafe has some attractive southern style dishes on the menu. I was hoping to get some oxtail but they were out of stock. I did eat some other tasty dishes.

One of the first grocery stores I shopped at was just a bit bigger than Bi-Rite. At the time I was just interested in getting 7Up and Hires Root Beer. Bi-Rite is more for gourmet cooks while that old grocery store was more for necessities and alcohol.
