Alpine has a quiet small town vibe a bit like Julian but without the horde of tourists. Lots of one story buildings and land that hasn’t been paved over.

I remember coming here for a weekday lunch and there was a line out the door. This time I came at opening time Saturday and there was one party in front of me. Nice employees took my order and were quick getting it out.
Imperial Fish Market

I was in this area alot when Huffman’s Bbq was open. Looks like redevelopment is closing in. Big modern buildings are replacing the single family houses and little family owned businesses.
Urbn Sushi

I watched as they tore this place apart and rebuilt it. I’m guessing there was a roof leak and mold as they had a generator powering fans drying the place out for months.
