Snoice / 7420 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard San Diego, CA 92111
After running an errand across the street at George’s camera, we were thrilled to see Snoice in our neck of the woods! Needless to say we did a u-turn and drove into the parking lot. This strip mall does offer a fair amount of parking.
Elite Week: Shawarma Guys
Drove through north park to visit Shawarma Guys for Yelp Elite week. Looked like some of the cute houses have been replaced by condos and apartments. I miss the old days when it was mostly just cute houses.
Kiko’s Place Seafood
I noticed Kiko’s food truck when I visited Pacific Beach. There was just one parking spot when I visited for a late lunch. I ordered a steak taco and a fish taco. Tacos came with 2 corn tortillas. I liked the mild corn flavor.
San Diego Trolley. The Green line from Fashion Valley to SDSU
We decided to do a day trip using public transit from our house to SDSU. This way my daughter would be more familiar with all the in’s and out’s in preparation for her college commute each day.
The Craft Creamery
The Craft Creamery doesn’t actually make ice cream. They curate a collection of ice cream from places that do.
White Rice
Eating at Liberty Station is an adventure. You never know what restaurants will disappear or what will take its place.
Ember & Rye / 7447 Batiquitos Drive Carlsbad, CA 92011
This was my first visit to Ember & Rye with chef Richard Blais at the helm. Such a touching tribute to name the place after his daughters Ember & Riley.
