I remember walking across 30th ST Monday through Friday for kindergarten and 1st grade. Not many food options back then. My favorite was Dairy Queen. Now Soi 30th is here. Cute small spot with indoor and outdoor seating.

Dao Xiang Noodle

I noticed on mmm-yoso!!! there was a new restaurant where Mama Lin’s was. I loved Saigon 5 which was there prior to Mama Lin’s. I got some shopping done at 99 Ranch while I waited for my order.
Glass Box

I visited the Sky Desk a bunch of times since it opened. It’s not that busy at lunch now. They spent a ton of money making this place look fabulous but the prices are high.
China Delight

There are not many Chinese food options in Oakhurst. China Delight was the highest rated place.
The Nood Bar

I lived near this part of town in the 70’s. I remember it was quiet and there was a bowling alley. The bowling alley has closed. Replaced by apartments. It looks like a huge apartment complex is being built across the street. Should be lots of business for The Nood Bar when complete.
Bafang Dumplings

I remember when I first moved to Mira Mesa there was a 4 screen movie theatre here. I spent lots of evenings here.
